Dopo i Critics Choice Awards 2026, la stagione dei grandi premi entra nel vivo con uno degli appuntamenti più attesi dell’anno: i Golden Globes 2026. La 83ª edizione della cerimonia che celebra il meglio del cinema e della televisione si terrà domenica 11 gennaio 2026 nella storica cornice del Beverly Hilton di Beverly Hills, in California.

A condurre la serata, per il secondo anno consecutivo, sarà la comica e attrice americana Nikki Glaser, riconfermata dopo l’ottimo debutto nel 2025. Negli Stati Uniti l’evento sarà trasmesso in diretta su CBS e disponibile anche in streaming su Paramount+.

Le nomination sono state annunciate l’8 dicembre 2025 durante una diretta streaming da Los Angeles, presentata da Marlon Wayans e Skye P. Marshall. Come da tradizione, i Golden Globes segnano l’inizio ufficiale della corsa agli Oscar e offrono una fotografia chiara dei titoli destinati a dominare la stagione dei premi.

Dopo il risultato ottenuto lo scorso anno da Vermiglio, l’edizione 2026 non sorride al cinema italiano, che resta escluso dalle candidature, nonostante l’ottimo riscontro critico di Familia di Francesco Costabile.

A dominare la sezione cinema è One Battle After Another di Paul Thomas Anderson, che guida la corsa con nove nomination. Subito dietro si impongono Hamnet, Frankenstein di Guillermo Del Toro e Sinners di Ryan Coogler. Sul fronte televisivo, il titolo più nominato è la serie britannica Adolescence, mentre tra i grandi favoriti tornano The White Lotus, Severance, Only Murders in the Building e Hacks.

Tra le novità più significative dell’edizione 2026, spicca l’introduzione della categoria Podcast dell’anno, a conferma del cambiamento nei linguaggi e nei formati dell’intrattenimento contemporaneo.
